BCC QSO Parties 2023 – Rules

This year, we will organize again another two BCC QSO Parties. We want to know your T-shirt size, so we hope that the T-shirts for our active BCC member will fit well.

We will have „BCC-Party-Hero“ Polo-shirts for the top 3 entrants per category over both parties.

Here are the rules:

Preferred frequencies 3510 – 3550 kHz CW
3600 – 3650 kHz, 3700 – 3800 kHz SSB
3580 – 3600 kHz RTTY
Objective To contact as many stations as possible, especially BCC members. Stations may be contacted once in each mode (CW, SSB, RTTY)
Categories BCC members, non-members
QRP: max. 5 Watt, Low Power: max. 100 Watt, High Power: > 100 Watt
Calling CQ BCC
Exchange RS(T) + T-Shirt size (XS, S, M, L, XL, 2XL, 3XL, 4XL, 5XL)
Stations not giving a T-shirt size may be logged with 000
QSO points For each BCC member per mode 2 points
For each non-member per mode 1 point
For each QSO with DA0BCC 5 points
Multiplier points For each T-shirt size per mode 1 point
Final score The final score is the result of the total QSO points multiplied by the sum of the multiplier points.
Logs Electronic submission in Cabrillo format with logupload at the BCC-website https://www.bavarian-contest-club.de
There are only electronical logs in Cabrillo format accepted.
Log deadline 1 hour after the end of the contest
Results Preliminary results will be directly published at the BCC-Website
Awards Polo-shirts for the top 3 entrants per category over both parties
Further awards for each QSO Party will be published on the BCC Website (suggestions are welcome).
